New Church Planters Training Event

What is the PURPOSE of this event?
As a leader of one of our newest Disciples church starts, you will gain the basic skills necessary for developing your church. We know that New Church Planters need assistance and knowledge as they begin their journey, so we’ve created this event and packed it full of information to help and inspire you to do the work God has called you to do.
At this event, you will learn and work with:
- Vision, Mission, and Values Statements
- Discovering Your Target Area
- Demographic Small Groups
- The Barnabas Relationship
- Leader Development
- Evangelism & Attraction Events
- Marketing Strategies
- Budgeting & Finances
- Disciples Ethos, Philosophy & Identity
- New Church Planters Network
Who is INVITED?
Up to 3 people are invited from each new church start. The Leadership Team can include the planter, the planter's spouse, key leader(s) from the Core Group, member(s) of the Steering Committee, or a person from the region involved with the new church.
As space allows clergy and laypersons exploring a call to new church ministry may also apply.
What is the COST?
New Church Ministry will cover the cost of food, loading and training for each participant.
Participants will cover all transportation expenses and tuition cost of $100.00 per person. Please submit your tuition fee (per person) with your complete application. All payments must be received seven days prior to training.
