Rick Morse, Vice President for New Church Ministry & Mission Initiatives
Rick joined the NCM staff early in 2001. He came to the team from Lake Washington Christian Church in Seattle, WA - a congregation he planted and then pastored for 17 years. Rick's experience with new church planting and ability to create and communicate a viable vision make him an invaluable member of the team. His leadership has transformed the movement into a vital, God-led ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Gilberto Collazo, Vice President for Missional Development & Operations
A native of Puerto Rico, Gilberto adds great depth of experience to the team. He has successfully grown a number of congregations in Puerto Rico as well as helping plant even more. He came to the United States with his family in 2001 to join the New Church Ministry Team. Gilberto provides leadership and insight into all aspects of NCMT's work, but particularly works with the Hispanic new church starts and the churches starting churches initiative.

Charlie Wallace, Minister, New Church Congregational Relations
As a missionary in Haiti and Venezuela, Charlie served as a church planter, a coach for six new church projects, helped establish a seminary and worked closely with congregations in crisis. He speaks English, Spanish and Creole which are highly valued additions to the team. Charlie's job entails the interfacing of New Church Ministry with established churches, and encouraging Anglo churches to consider starting new churches.

Nadine Burton, Minister for New Church Leader Development
Nadine joined the NCMT in April 2003 having most recently served Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church as associate pastor for Christian education, where she developed a spiritual assessment process for new members. She also created numerous programs, curriculum pieces, workshop materials and events. Nadine will guide discernment about call to ministry, assess skills and organize training events for new church planters.

Ketty Santos, Minister for Coaching
As minister for coaching, Ketty's responsibilities include supporting New Church Planters, creating and maintaining an effective coaching network that involves training and assessment, and providing educational opportunities for Church Planters once they are in their third year of development. Before joining New Church Ministry, Ketty was a pastor at El Aposento Alto Church in Forest Park, Georgia. Ketty is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Sharon Merchant, Executive Assistant for New Church Ministry & Mission Initiatives
Sharon joined the team in May 2006. As assistant to the New Church Ministry team, she is involved with the day-to-day operations. As the team travels, she coordinates their responsibilities. She also manages correspondence and staff reports. A long-time Disciple, Sharon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the NCM team.

Brenda Rossy, Executive Assistant for New Church Ministry
Brenda Rossy joined the New Church Ministry team in October 2008. As executive assistant to the team, Brenda is responsible for managing New Church Ministry events, maintaining the website and providing accurate recording keeping. In addition to her life-long passion and knowledge of the Christian Church, she has strong bilingual communications (English and Spanish) skills.
